Manufacturing Process

Manufacturing is derived from latin word "Manufactus" which means"made by hand" . It can be defined as the process which transforms the raw materials into finished products to be used for various purposes . There are a large number of processes available for manufacture to the engineer. These processes can be broadly classified into four categories. 1. Casting Process 2. Forming Process 3. Fabrication Process 4. Material Removal Process

Ideal Transformer

Image
Ideal Transformer is an imaginary transformer which does not have any types of losses  like core losses, copper losses and any other losses. Its efficiency is considered as 100%. 4. The windings of ideal transformer are purely inductive. 5. Core of transformer is loss free so maximum flux passes through the core and links the windings.

PIPE LAGGING ----  Pipe Lagging is a special type of insulation fitted around water pipes. It keeps heat within the pipes - so it's useful for saving energy as well as preventing pipes from freezing and bursting. Lagging also prevents condensation forming on cold pipes. It is used for safety reasons!!! This is the process of covering outer surface of a pipe,  carrying some hot or cold working fluid, with some insulating materials so as to reduce the transfer of heat, from or to the fluid is known as #Pipe #Lagging....
