Manufacturing Process

Manufacturing is derived from latin word "Manufactus" which means"made by hand" . It can be defined as the process which transforms the raw materials into finished products to be used for various purposes .
There are a large number of processes available for manufacture to the engineer. These processes can be broadly classified into four categories.

2. Forming Process
3. Fabrication Process
4. Material Removal Process
